Bill of materials
Everything to buy for one robot. Quantities of actuators, bearings and extrusion are counted from the 3D model; nothing here is typed twice. Prices are US listings as of , in USD, and are meant to be checked before ordering.
Summary
| Section | Tier | Lines | Subtotal |
|---|
Order first. The 23 actuators are 80 % of the cost, have the longest lead time and have no drop-in substitute: a different model changes the bolt circle, the flange, the support bearing and the CAN settings. Order them before printing anything. Everything else ships in days.
Sourcing notes
- RobStride sells direct (robstride.com) and through Amazon US and AiFitLab. Duke V2 bought RS00–RS04 on Amazon and RS05/RS06 from AiFitLab in 2026. Ask for the same firmware revision on every unit of a model.
- Bearings are standard thin-section sizes (6809, 6807, 6707). Any -2RS sealed bearing of that size fits; the 2RS seals keep filament dust out.
- Extrusion: order 2020 pre-cut to 400 mm with M5-tapped ends, or cut it and tap it yourself.
- Batteries: two identical 6S packs bought together so they age together. EC5 leads. Do not buy packs with XT90 unless you also change the pack leads in the harness table.
- Filament: PETG-CF prints on any printer with a hardened nozzle and an enclosure helps. If your printer cannot do CF, plain PETG works for every part except the hip-roll bracket, hip-yaw housing, thigh block and ankle bracket, which should then be printed at 100 % infill.
- Mini PC: any x86 box with 4+ cores, 16 GB RAM, two USB 3 ports and a 12 V barrel input. N100 boxes are the cheapest that fit. Avoid boxes that need 19 V.
